Regina Baker: eCommerce Solutions Expert

Regina Baker eCommerce Solutions Expert

Regina Baker - eCommerce Solutions Expert

I am thoroughly honored and excited about being your ecommerce solutions expert at Group Mastery for Speakers, Trainers and Workshop Leaders.

As WendyY will tell you, I get pumped up about educating business owners about ecommerce solutions when it comes to full powered shopping cart solutions.

There is a huge segment of Small Business Owners who earn a living by simply working from home. However, due to limited education when it comes to Internet Marketing, the small business owner is sometimes hit with the most scams. Unscrupulous people prey on the small business owner who's just starting out. SBO's who so desperately want to sell their own products that sometimes they will invest in a fraudulent program or be convinced they need to spend hundreds of dollars each month on a shopping cart with lots of bells and whistles.

That's where I come in. More about Regina

Small businesses everywhere need to be smart with their money but also should know when to invest in a program that can grow with their business. Even if you have just one product to sell, invest in a shopping cart that offers:

* Secure ordering
* Multiple payment options
* Multiple product and pricing options
* Autoresponders
* Affiliate Program Software
* Tracking Solutions

Ever wondered what eCommerce is, how to set up an autoresponder, how shopping carts work, which affiliate software is most beneficial to you as a business owner or the most efficient way to test and track marketing campaigns?

Simply put, I’m what you call an “Ecommerce Solutions Advisor” a person who recommends, teaches, advises or otherwise helps people according to their ecommerce needs.  Get ready to get your questions answered!  I look forward to meeting you and serving your ecommerce solutions needs at Group Mastery.

I am getting ready to add a shopping cart to my web site. One comes in my Go Daddy hosting package. Is that a good one to use? Other recommendations?

There are so many choices. It's difficult to know what to do. Thanks for giving me an idea of what to look for. It's great knowing there's a source of information available to help us make the right decison for our business. Thanks to both WendyY and Regina.

Sounds like Regina will add just the right expertise to round out your Group Mastery consultants. I think starting a small business on the web needs someone with real experience who can guide you and help you avoid pitfalls. Also, I bet there are loads of scammers out there who are more than happy to take your money. Regina could be of great assistance and really get you going in the right direction.

Hi Pam,

I've never personally utilized Godaddy's shopping cart features nor have I used them for hosting my websites. However, by viewing the features of the shopping cart at Godaddy, I found this: http://snipurl.com/anfn0 (then click on 'view all features'.)

There's also a feature that allows you to look at a live website to see the shopping cart in action.

Take the time to look over everything as though you were the customer. If it appeals to you, you can then make an informed decision.

Melodieann and Eileen,

I think that some people think if they just sign up for any shopping cart software that it's okay, only to find out later they're so many more features needed for tracking as well as communicating with customers.

Knowing what you need in the beginning, helps to eliminate moving and setting up all over again and hoping your affiliates will do the same.

Thanks for your comments, I'm excited and honored to be able to share.

Hi Regina,

Thank you for the great overview. My business has traditionally been brick and mortart - I ran a gift store for many years now. I know I should have an online presence. I just need something basic to start and have been researching for the past month. I have my eyes on this software package that seems to have it ALL - Interspire Shopping Cart (http://www.interspire.com/shoppingcart). What would you say to a noob getting into ecommerce, would that software suffice for my growing needs? Thanks!

If those features represent what you need in your business then that would be a decision you have to make.
